Sofíá Aguiar Labella aka Aurora, Uruguayan Visual, Plastic and DIgital Artist, born in 1982. In 2006 she enters the National School of Fine Arts (IENBA). In 2010, she performs as an Art Director and Costume Designer for the uruguayan in- dependent film “Frondoso Edén del Corazón” from the director Juan Manuel Fodde. She also participates of the 2o anniversary of the dorkbot.mvd exhibition at Centro Municipal de Exposiciones Subte, with her project “Mortal Cotton”, curated by Brian Mackern. In 2011 she takes part in the “Good News, Good Portraits workshop, directed by the Professor Susanne Windelen from the Staatliche Akademie Dër Buldunden Kunste de Stuttgart and the Professor Sebastián Alonso from the URMIENBA-UDELAR. During the same year she participates of the GLI.TC/H international festival with a video, both in the cities of Amsterdam and Chicago. The following year, she exhibits works together with Laura Santos, putting together the 1st Glitch Art Exhibition in Uruguay (Sala Miguel Angel Pareja, IENBA). In 2013 she takes part of the international net/glitch/digital art festival KEIN THEMA 23 with a video, among the video installations in Nüremberg, Germany, and she also integrated the line-up of the glitch art exhibition taking place in Furtherfield Gallery, London for “The Glitch Moment/um” Exhibition (8th - 28th June). She is currently preparing the final thesis to obtain the Degree in Visual and Plastic Arts (Carlos Musso’s Workshop), and working as a prolific Glitch Artist.
Iael Brener aka Harvest, Swiss-Uruguayan, multi-disciplinary Industrial/Graphic Designer, Digital Artist and Musician, born in 1984. She begins to design at age 14, both by taking Graphic Design courses and being self- taught through the Internet. In 2003 she wins the Fullbright Scholarship to study Fine Arts in Valdosta State Univer- sity, Georgia (USA). In 2007, she graduates from uruguayan state college (Centro de Diseño Industrial - UDELAR) as an Industrial & Product Designer. She works over the years as a Graphic Designer for several advertising agencies in Uruguay and as a freelancer for both Uruguay and abroad. She currently designs for various projects under the name BRENER (specializing in Branding and Editorial Design) and doing an internship in a Graphic Design Studio in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Nowadays, she is also recording her first solo album as an Electronic Musician (singer-songwriter, keyboards) and working as a Digital Artist focused mainly on Glitch Art. These entire she does under the alias Harvest.![]()
